I've learned that I can not drink light or medium roasts...beans MUST be dark. Been trying these two and they work well for me. Eight O'Clock was the A&P house brand that I remember from back when A&P was THE BIG Grocery store and that was many decades ago. In the 1950s Cook Coffee would deliver in their spiffy painted trucks...things were so much simpler. To me both are quite good however the Hill's had a big price increase shortly after I bought a few pounds. Now that the mornings are getting cooler it's really a nice way to start the day...20 ounces of freshly ground dark roast!
