That is really pretty. I used to live in the SC midlands but would go up to the foothills in the summer to camp. I miss doing that. Such beauty up there.
Been in Greenville since late June...REALLY like it...had some back problems so I have not been able to do much but finally did get out and do some hiking a bit northwest of here...after 15+ years in high desert all this green is really amazing!
Oh wow, so you settled there? I knew you were looking to move from where you were, but wasn't sure you ever did. I love upstate South Carolina. It is one of the prettiest places I have been and I had actually wanted to live up there myself years ago, but circumstances brought the family down here to Florida so here I am !! Let me tell you, it is REALLY pretty up there in the springtime. I think you will enjoy it immensely.
I agree with you...I am REALLY impressed by this area and I have not really explored it yet. I hope to start looking for houses soon and I am thinking of landing around Clemson where I can take classes for free (old person discount) if I wanted to and hopefully there is a tech community with a few start-ups where I could possibly find something interesting to do and if not...there are classes at Clemson and planting a kick ass garden and building a greenhouse for winter veggies. This is it for me and I can't imagine doing any better. I like how rural things get but I can still be close to enough for me. This is GREAT!
