  1. Wow, you are really pulling them in!! I know you are excited to get into your house. You picked a very nice area to settle in, if you are still in the place you mentioned awhile ago in the Carolinas. I always wanted to live in upstate South Carolina, but here I am in Florida. I did live in the midlands of South Carolina for 20 years though. Enjoy your new house sir!

  2. THANK YOU! The house is in Pelzer on 1.5 acres and probably the smallest lot in the area. It should be REALLY quiet (other than the roosters in the morning) and give me pleanty of space for raised bed veggies...might even try a few flowers around the house. Not too many trees so I get plenty of sun and I have a well so I can irrigate the plants without spending a fortune on water. Yes, it is really nice here although the Greenville area is rapidly growing which brings on its problems but I hope I have a few years before it goes too crazy. Want to get the raised beds in this year so I can ht the ground running next spring. I will try to do some winter veggies in grow bags...looking forward to fresh greens! These plants are at a friend's and they are off to their cabin on an island off the coast of Maine so the plants are not getting the care they need but are still doing well. I am expecting the cherries to really start producing soon and shortly after that the larger tomatoes. Closing @ 10 AM tomorrow!!!!! I am looking forward to the space and the quiet! Back to packing up the apartment. I enjoyed moving when I was younger....not so much now!
