4 grain rye....sesame, fennel, caraway , poppy...2 tablespoons each in a 1.5 pound loaf (1.5 cups rye + 1.5 cups unbleached white bread flour) with brown sugar to feed the yeast. This one came out great! LOVE all the seeds! Next time I think I'll try either honey or molasses rather than the brown sugar and see what that does.

ReplyDeleteIt's fun and almost impossible to create a disaster...did the same with whole wheat yesterday and that was also good...next time I'm going to use either molasses or honey rather than brown sugar and I need to also try caramelized onions. It's GREAT that I have all this time. Mowed the l;awn a few days ago and I hope that's the last mow of the season...grass has really slowed down. Highs are now in the 70s to low 80s...morning lows in the 50s...absolutely SPECTACULAR!
