LavAzza is an Italian company which roasts in the US. I have had the medium roast and it's good so I expect the medium & dark roast espresso each to be good. A BIG plus is LavAzza is reasonably priced. Now I need to get organized and that may take some time, longer days AND warmer temperatures!
So how did the taste test go??? I don't drink much coffee anymore. It has become so pricey, but usually I can find it Buy one get one
ReplyDeleteI've tried the Rossa & the espresso on the left and both are medium roasts. I've always had dark roasts in the past and I have discovered that these mediums roasts are OK but in my opinion not great and that is a personal taste opinion. The espresso on the right is a darker roast and that will hopefully be something I really like BUT...it will take me some time to get through the other two which are OK...just not great...again in my opinion...some people probably really like the medium roasts and not the dark. Coffee is one of my few treats...something I REALLY enjoy in the morning.
DeleteI don't know what it is, but there is nothing like that cup of coffee in the morning. It's one of the simple things in life that seems to bring so much pleasure and contentment. We have to hold on to those simple things these days!
DeleteYou are 100% correct...there is NOTHING like that hot cup of strong coffee first thing in the morning. I weight out the beans and fill the kettle with water in the evening so all I need to do in the morning is grind the beans and heat the water...it's all so VERY simple and a wonderful way to slowly start the day. It is absolutely GREAT to NOT have to get up and to work in the morning!
